'Ab Tak Chhappan' writer Ravishankar Alok allegedly commits suicide

In a shocking news, depression takes the life of Bollywood screenplay writer Ravishankar Alok who allegedly committed suicide on July 11 in Mumbai.
According to Mumbai police, the 32-year-old writer was a resident of Seven Bungalows area in Andheri (West) who ended his life by jumping off from the roof of the building at around 2 pm.
His body was found by a guard of an adjacent building who found Ravishankar in a pool of blood. An ambulance was immediately called. Police arrived later. The writer's brother who lived with him, was not at home at the time when the incident took place. Versova police was unable to find a suicide note, the PTI report further stated.

Ravishankar was most famous for being involved in the writing of Nana Patekar starrer Ab Tak Chhappan. He was out of work for over a year now and had problems with finances. He reportedly had no money to pay for expenses like rent and etc. He was suffering from depression as a result of the same and was undergoing psychiatric treatment, according to the police.
The police are currently conducting a further probe into the matter.
