Two of the world's biggest video streaming giants, Netflix and Google's YouTube, seem to have varying opinions when it comes to sleep.
While Google recently announced rolling out a feature that lets YouTube users set a "Take a break" reminder to limit prolonged viewing, Netflix's CEO Reed Hastings last month noted sleep as the company's biggest competition.
“We’re competing with sleep, on the margin. And so, it’s a very large pool of time,” Hastings noted.
Netflix enjoys close to 125 million users worldwide, but Hastings had previously admitted having got "YouTube envy”.
